Salted Pecans and Banoffee Pie Sambousak

#Repost @Ramysoli For today's "ay 7aga" I'll be making Salted Pecans and Banoffee Pie Sambousak I had some Salted pecans leftovers from @abuaufshop so I wanted to experiment by making the banoffee pie in a form of Sambousak! I filled it with a mixture of dulce de leche, bananas, and used the salted pecans to replace the pie crust texture. The only thing I would change in this recipe is to keep the sweetened condensed milk an hour longer for a thicker dulce de leche with more intense flavors. Ingredients: (Makes 15 Sambousak) - Sambousak sheets ( you can use spring rolls sheets or phyllo dough) -100 grams of Abu Auf’s Salted Pecans -1 can of Sweetened condensed milk. -3 bananas - A mix of 3 tablespoons of sugar with 1 and ½ teaspoon of cinnamon -2 tablespoons of flour mixed with 2 and ½ tablespoons of water -Oil for frying Steps: 1- Boil the sweetened condensed milk can in hot water for 3-4 hours then let it rest (DON’T OPEN IT IMMEDIATELY OR IT’LL EXPLODE). 2- Cut the bananas into small cubes and crush the salted pecans. 3- In a bowl, mix half of the dulce de leche with the banana cubes and the crushed pecans. 4- Fill the Sambousak with a tablespoon of the mixture and add extra dulce de leche (use the flour paste to seal the edges perfectly). 5- Use a deep fryer, or you can pan fry for 3 minutes on each side like I did in the video. 6- Roll it in the the cinnamon sugar mixture and drizzle it with more dulce de leche. Note: Serve it immediatly and enjoy the crispy crunch from the sambosak. Oh and a side of whipped cream or ice cream won't hurt 😋 #foodie #foodgram #foodporn #vscocam #foodbloog #delicious #lovefood #tastingtable #Getinmybelly #Feedme #Cheatmeal #foodblogger #like4like #foodcoma #instalike #nyceats #likeforlike #followback #healthy #fitness #foodtgasm #chocolate #foodpornshare #photooftheday #instagood #foodphotography #instafood
